The band camp it up in style while the rain pours down...
The SCISSOR SISTERS brought a little glamour to an otherwise dismal Saturday at the GLASTONBURY festival this afternoon (June 26).
Opening with ‘Take Your Mama Out’, the camp pop act pranced on stage to hits such as ‘Tits On The Radio’, ‘Rock My Spot’ and the Pink Floyd cover ‘Comfortably Numb’, with biggest cheer of the set going to current single ‘Laura’.
Dressed in a halter-neck backless catsuit, frontman Jake Shears and frontwoman Ana Matronic praised Glastonbury for the attitude of the festival goers, and made the audience perform a bonding exercise with each other.
The pair also gave their seal of approval to the festival tradition of sex in tents.
The band will also play the Dance Tent at 19.20 this evening, performing a different set.
