The band tear through ’White Riot’ for Mick Jones’ birthday…
BABYSHAMBLES paid tribute to THE CLASH’s MICK JONES last night (June 25) during the second of their two gigs this weekend at the GLASTONBURY festival .
The band ripped through the punk classic ’White Riot’ in honour of Jones’ 50th birthday.
The Clash guitarist has been producing Babyshambles’ debut album which is due out at the end of the summer.
Headlining the Leftfield Stage last night, the band treated fans to a set including ’Do You Know Me?’, ‘Killamangiro’, ’Albion’, ’Pipe Down’ and forthcoming single ’Fuck Forever’.
“I’m having a really great time,” Babyshambles’ Pete Doherty told NME.COM. “both the shows were great.”
