Tickets for the Scottish festival are all snapped up in just four days…

T IN THE PARK has sold out in record time.

Last year, tickets for the event sold out 10 weeks before the event but that record has now been smashed, with five months to go until 2005’s festival.

Tickets for this year’s T In The Park, which features headliners Foo Fighters and Green Day, went on sale the day after 2004’s event and during the month long limited buying period, 33% of passes were sold.

The remaining allocation of tickets went on sale on Saturday (February 12) at 9am and took just four days to sell out completely.

Festival boss Geoff Ellis said: “After last year’s sell out, we did think this year’s event would sell slightly earlier, however this is way beyond our expectations. We are extremely proud that fans are so excited about T In The Park that they have made absolutely sure that their place at Balado is booked for 2005, and we will deliver one of the greatest events yet for them in July.”

He added: “We would ask fans who did not manage to get a ticket to register on www.tinthepark.com, because this will be the first place for them to receive updates about any future ticket availability.”

Other acts set to play at this year’s event include: Kasabian, Prodigy, Embrace, Keane, Audioslave, Razorlight, Biffy Clyro, Streets, Beautiful South, Coral, [/a], James Brown, Travis, [a].

T In The Park will take place between July 9-10 at Scotland’s Balado by Kinross.
