If you have £6000 spare you can camp in style at this year’s festival…

The more well-to-do GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL goers can enjoy the luxury of £6,000 tent at this year’s event.

The pricey tents are part of the upmarket Camp Kerala Village, which along with the quality canvass gives punters VIP tickets to the festival, serviced toilets, hot showers and a daily cooked breakfast.

The camp is the brainchild of Jenny Lederman, a former barrister who now lives near the festival.

“People who went to the festival during the 1980s and 1990s and have now made a bit of money want to do it again,” she told BBC News. “The festival is such a unique experience, once you have been there you just want to go back and back. This is for people who love Glastonbury and want to do it in luxury.”

However if the thought of portaloos and queuing for food fills you with dread, you better hurry, as almost all of the 50 tents have been booked.

The Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm between June 24 and 26.
