More tickets are made available for this year’s bash…
THE CARLING WEEKEND: READING FESTIVAL has had its capacity increased for this year’s bash.
Following a meeting of the licensing committee of Reading Borough Council on June 8, it was agreed to increase this years event by 5,500 day tickets on Saturday and Sunday.
This means the capacity of the event is now 60,500 on Saturday and Sunday and 55,000 on Friday.
“It is obviously great news,” said Mean Fiddler Managing Director Melvin Benn. “It’s so good that Reading Borough Council continue to support the event to this level and their decision to allow these extra tickets means that an additional 11,000 people get to see their favourite bands at the world’s best music festival.”
Full details of how to apply for the tickets will be announced shortly.
