The stars come out for the annual Weenie Roast...

THE KILLERS showcased new material at LA radio station KROQ’s annual WEENIE ROAST.

The group bagged themselves an evening slot alongside headliners Motley Crue, Foo Fighters and Audioslave.

Opening with ‘Somebody Told Me’ Brandon Flowers and his bandmates whipped through a host of hits including ‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine’ and ‘Andy You’re a Star’ before the frontman told the crowd to listen to “the future of the Killers.”

The band then launched into the dark ‘All the Pretty Faces’ whose lyrics include ‘I don’t feel like loving you’. The band closed their set with hit ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’.

Other highlights of the 12 hour event included Queens Of The Stone Age who played with Distillers singer Brody Dalle and Dave Grohl watching from the side of the stage.

Elsewhere, Dead 60s brought fans out in the early day heat and The Bravery drew a rapturous crowd too.

Following a jubilant set by Foo Fighters, Motley Crue closed the evening with a host of hits like ‘Shout at the Devil’, and ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’.
