The Rakes rope in even more special guests for Carling Weekend: Reading Festival

The band join forces with Bloc Party, Towers Of London and Maximo Park…

THE RAKES were joined a host of special guests during their appearance at the CARLING WEEKEND: READING FESTIVAL today (August 28).

Performing on the NME/Radio 1 Stage without singer Alan Donohoe – who is at home suffering from illness – the band teamed up with a trio of groups to help out.

Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack lent his vocals to ’Terror’ and joined Maximo Park’s Paul Smith for ’Strasbourg’.
