An extra 3,000 tickets have gone on sale for this year’s GLASTONBURY festival.
The allocation is for the Sunday performances of the event (June 26), and has already sold out.
People with disabilities were eligible for 250 of those tickets, whilst the remainder were sold to residents living within a 15-mile radius of the festival site.
According to BBC News, Mendip councillors agreed to increase the crowd limit after being told that the proceeds would be donated to the tsunami appeal.
As previously reported on NME.COM, tickets for Glastonbury 2005 sold out in record time. All 112,000 tickets for the festival sold out in under three hours.
