Tickets for the Scottish festival get snapped up in record time...
T IN THE PARK has sold out in record time.
Last night (April 27) fans snapped up the last of the tickets to the Scottish festival, which takes place on July 10-11 at Balado by Kinross, and there are still ten weeks until the event.
This represents the fastest ever sell out of T In The Park in the festival’s 11-year history, despite an increase in capacity this year of 5,000 per day.
Geoff Ellis, CEO of festival organisers DF Concerts, said: “For T In The Park to sell out in the fastest time in its 11-year history is an incredible achievement, and goes to show that the event has definitely established itself as one of the most important dates in the world’s music calendar.”
This year’s line up includes headliners David Bowie and The Strokes, Libertines, The Darkness, Kings Of Leon, Pink, Faithless, Black Eyed Peas, N.E.R.D, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, [a][/a], Scissor Sisters, Muse and Wu-Tang Clan.
Festival organisers are advising fans who do not have tickets not to turn up to this year’s T In The Park, as none will be available.
