have announced they will play the LEEDS and READING festivals next August.
The metal giants, currently wrapping up work on their new album, will appear in Leeds on August 22 and in Reading on August 24. A message on www.metallica.com also confirms the band will play in Dublin on August 21, with a venue yet to be confirmed.

The shows are part of a series of European festival gigs for the coming summer.
