It's shaping up to be a busy summer for the hirsute Californians...

Grandaddy have announced full details of their new single ‘NOW IT’S ON’ – and have also confirmed their appearance at this year’s GLASTONBURY.

The track, released through V2 on May 26, is the first to be taken from the band’s eagerly awaited new LP ‘Sumday’, which follows on June 9.

‘Now It’s On’ will be released on two CDs, DVD and 7″. CD1 additionally features ‘Trouble With A Capital T’ and ‘Hey Cowboy, The Phone’s For You’. CD contains extra track ‘Getting Jipped’ and an enhanced video for new album track ‘Yeah Is What We Had’. The 7″ features ‘Trouble With A Capital T’, while the DVD offers the film ‘Now It’s Upside Down’.

Grandaddy have also confirmed that they will be playing the Other Stage at Glastonbury on Sunday June 29 “around 5.40pm”.

The band sandwich their Glastonbury show with some UK dates, as previously announced on NME.COM.
