And the band take the time to talk to NME.COM about the future, which includes the release of a best of compilation...

PRODIGY wowed T IN THE PARK tonight (July 10) by playing a hit-packed headlining set on the RADIO 1/NME STAGE – and they found time to play two new songs.

The band sent the Scottish punters home in good heart with a stunning selection from their forthcoming greatest hits compilation ’Their Law’, out in August.

Highlights included ’Poison’, ‘Voodoo People’, ’Smack My Bitch Up’ and the Number One singles ’Breathe’ and ’Firestarter’.

And the T punters went wild for the new tunes, ’Warning’ and ’Back To School’, the latter of which will feature on the hits compilation.

Speaking to NME.COM earlier, mainman Liam Howlett said of playing T: “It feels good man. Long overdue. 1998 was the last time. Scottish and Irish are the best crowds. We just come back from Dublin (Oxegen Festival) and it’s the same there, it’s a totally different league to Reading. The crowd are much more up for it.”

Maxim added: “It’s cool crowd to play to.”

Talking about the new material, Liam commented: “Now we’re back on the road as a trio we’ve been coming up with new tunes. I write tunes on my laptop. We’d play gigs before but weren’t coming up with new stuff.”

Tonight’s set was:

’Wake Up’

’Their Law’

’Back To School’

’Action Radar Link’

’Voodoo People’

’Method Beat’

’Smack My Bitch Up’

‘Out Of Space’
