KEANE’s appearance in the NME SIGNING TENT this afternoon (July 10) at T IN THE PARK has drawn a massive crowd.
The tent, which is located next to the Main Stage will see bands including Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines and Funeral For A Friend meeting their fans throughout the weekend, had Keane make a special guest appearance this afternoon.
On arrival the band were greeted with hundreds of screaming girls, as well as a massive queue which snaked around the tent. Fans pressed up close to the barrier taking pictures and singing the band’s songs.
The first fan to meet the band was 19 year-old Geoff Brewer, who brought his disabled friend to meet the group.
He said: “He’s got the best voice in the British music industry that fella (singer Tom Chaplin). I’m going to come back to meet Starsailor later, but I’m looking forward to seeing The Charlatans the most later today.”
Keane will play the NME Stage at 5.35pm.
