There was a gap in the bill after David Bowie's withdrawal - and an old festival favourite will fill it...

THE CHARLATANS have stepped in to save the day at T IN THE PARK.

Last week, headliner The Darkness was forced to pull out of all live commitments on doctor’s orders due to a shoulder complaint. The Darkness were moved to the top of the bill, leaving a gap in the line-up.

Now, the baggy survivors will appear after Starsailor and before The Darkness to play a ‘greatest hits set’ on Saturday July 10 at the Scottish festival.

They are currently on tour promoting their eighth album ‘Up At The Lake’.

T In The Park takes place at Balado, Near Kinross, this weekend.
