The album was produced by Christoffer Berg, who mixed The Knife’s work, and Swedish production duo Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid. Since the release, she got back together with her brother Olof Dreijer to produce the last The Knife album before the duo disbanded in 2014. This year marks the 10th birthday of their ‘Silent Shout’ album.
Speaking to The Fader, Dreijer said of her time off from The Knife “I have made music for theater play that is touring in Sweden now, called Vahák, which means violence in Sami.”
She then eluded to a new Fever Ray album, stating “I am working in my studio on something. I’m continuing in other shapes,” When she was asked whether the new material would be under the Fever Ray moniker, she replied “I don’t know yet. We will see what it will be.”
