Rumours circulating that Kym Marsh has left the 'Popstars' band have been denied...
A spokesperson for HEAR’SAY – the artists formerly known as HEARSAY and the ‘POPSTARS’ band – has told NME.COM that rumours circulating today (Febuary 20) regarding KYM MARSH leaving the group are untrue.
Bookmakers William Hill have reportedly closed their book on the member of the band most likely to leave first, but the band’s spokesman tells NME.COM: “Kym has not left the band. She fought long and hard to be in the group and she’s staying.”
The band are spending most of today pre-recording an appearance on a Channel 5 chart show, after a morning in choreography sessions rehearsing a routine for a previously unheard song due to be performed on ‘CD:UK’.
Tomorrow’s plan for Hear’Say is to shoot an “industrial” video for ‘Pure & Simple’ “somewhere in [London’s] Vauxhall”.
The group’s album, scheduled for release two weeks after the single ‘Pure & Simple’, is tentatively titled… ‘Popstars’.
