FISCHERSPOONER, the electro-art-fashion duo from NEW YORK, have given NME.COM details of their first ever UK show.
The group, who stunned the dance music industry by signing a £2 million record deal with Ministry earlier this year, are to play at The Bridge in London SE1 on May 30. The event runs between 8pm and 1am, and will also see a rare set from DJ Hell. Tickets are priced £15.
Fischerspooner’s live show is famously elaborate. They rarely play live because their extravagant, choreographed, pyro-enhanced gigs are hugely expensive.
Casey Spooner said: There’s…lots of wardrobe, lots of pyrotechnics. It’s incredibly expensive. We’re doing a whole pop colonialism fantasy. The British Empire with the fetishing.”
