Top UK boy band Five played their debut London shows at WEMBLEY ARENA this weekend (March 23-24), and performed to a sell out crowd of over 20,000 fans in two nights.
The band, who started their European tour in Glasgow on March 10, entered the stage by throwing themselves through a giant ‘Five’ logo, backed by the deafening noise of fireworks from the stage. J, Abs, Scott, Sean and Ritchie then powered through all of their singles, including the pure pop assault of ‘Everybody Get Up’ and their first number one ‘Keep On Movin’‘.
The band ended their set with a version of Queen‘s ‘We Will Rock You’, a track which they had previously played at this year’s Brit Awards.
Five continue their UK tour tomorrow night (March 28) at Sheffield Arena and then play Newcastle Telewest Arena (29) and Manchester MEN Arena (31). The boys then return to Wembley for two more shows on April 1-2. All of the UK dates have already sold out. Following their UK commitments, the band fly out to Europe to continue their tour.
Five‘s latest single ‘Don’t Wanna Let You Go’ was released on March 6 RCA records.
