Five albums from David Bowie‘s back catalogue are being reissued on vinyl.
Last year saw the release of a new box set titled ‘A New Career In A New Town (1977-1982)’, which collected all of his releases from that time period.
Now, five albums that were included in that collection are being reissued individually on 180-gram vinyl. ‘Low’, “Heroes”, ‘Lodger’, ‘Scary Monsters’ and ‘Stage’ – a live album from the mid-’70s – will be re-released on February 23 via Parlophone.
None have been available individually on vinyl since 1991, according to Spin.
Meanwhile, Iman, former model and Bowie’s widow, marked the second anniversary of the star’s death with a touching social media post.
Posting on Instagram last week (January 10), the model added two new photos of tattoos. The first is seemingly a photo of the forearm of the couple’s 17-year-old daughter, Alexandria “Lexi” Jones. The tattoo depicts a jewelled moon alongside the word “Daddy xxx”, and the years of Bowie’s life (1947 – 2016).
The second is a tattoo of a knife on Iman’s ankle, with “David” written on the handle. “You will always be part of us. Jan 10th #BowieForever,” the model wrote with the post.
