The artist wore an McQueen gown and sang 'Two Weeks' at London's V&A
FKA Twigs performed at the opening of a new exhibition in London dedicated to the work of late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
Savage Beauty launched with a gala dinner last night (March 12) at the V&A Museum. Twigs attended in a 2008 feathered gown designed by McQueen and went on perform her track ‘Two Weeks’. Watch footage below, shot by fashion blogger Susie Bubble. The exhibition is set to be the V&A’s most popular ever exhibit.
In January FKA Twigs debuted a new song during a live show in Melbourne. The track was titled ‘Figure 8’, and footage of the performance was recorded by a fan in the audience. Click below to watch the clip.
FKA Twigs was recently added to the line-up for London’s Field Day festival in June. The event, which takes place in London’s Victoria Park between June 6-7, will also feature Ride, Patti Smith, Run The Jewels, Hudson Mohawke, Radiohead’s Philip Selway, Shura, Sylvan Esso, Todd Terje, Jack Garratt, Tune-Yards and Toumani & Sidiki Diabaté.
In addition, Twigs is scheduled to perform at the Sónar Festival in Barcelona later that month.
