Florence And The Machine singer Florence Welch joined forces with Late Night presenter Jimmy Fallon last night (September 12).
The frontwoman teamed up with the TV star for a rousing rendition of ‘Balls In Your Mouth’ – a protest song he wrote in 2010 about tar balls washing up on the shore following the BP oil spill. Scroll down below to view the performance.
The move comes after the recent Hurricane Isaac caused old tar balls to reach US shores again. During the show Welch and her band also performed their UK Number One hit ‘Spectrum (Say My Name)’.

The gigs begin at Exeter Westpoint Arena on December 4 and runs until December 10, when the band play Liverpool Echo Arena. The band released their second album ‘Ceremonials’ in October of last year and Welch recently revealed that she is now thinking about its follow-up and has “written a whole album in my head”.
