Florence And The Machine team up with fashion designer for special singles release

Limited 'Shake It Out' vinyl will be the first release with Karl Lagerfeld

Florence And The Machine has teamed up with Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld to release a special vinyl version of her new single ‘Shake It Out’.

The release, of which only 500 will be pressed, is the first of a series of limited edition singles the band are set to bring out through the The Vinyl Factory, in the coming months.

Each cover has been screen printed, silver foiled and hand numbered on pristine white card and features a unique series of photographic portraits personally taken by the Lagerfeld. Each sleeve also features a heavyweight 180-gram white vinyl contained in a silver inner bag.

The record itself, which comes out in conjunction with her second album ‘Ceremonials’ on Monday (October 31), is the only physical release of ‘Shake It Out’, and includes a remix by The Weeknd.

The releases are a joint collaboration with singer Florence Welch and Lagerfeld, who personally chose her as his muse for next season’s collection at Paris Fashion Week last month.
