Florence + The Machine opened for the band earlier in the evening
Florence Welch joined The Rolling Stones for their performance of ‘Wild Horses’ at London Stadium tonight (May 25).
Florence + The Machine opened for the band, following Liam Gallagher who opened for t hem earlier in the week (May 22).
As The Rolling Stones launched into their iconic ballad, Welch joined Mick Jagger to help out on vocals. You can see some footage below.
Following on from their support slot, Florence + The Machine will be embarking on a huge UK arena tour at the end of this year.
The band’s fourth album ‘High As Hope’ is set for release next month and the band have now confirmed that they’ll be hitting the road in November for a string of shows.

Welch recently revealed to BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac that she avoided booze to focus on writing new material for the album.
“It’s interesting because I think I never knew how to come down after a tour before, so I would just go on a massive bender”, she admitted.
“And I wasn’t doing that, so I just went straight back in the studio”.
