Foals to release ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ DVD in October

Band's performance at the famous venue will be released on October 28

Foals will release a recording of their gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall earlier this year on CD and DVD in October.

The band performed at the venue on March 28 and their performance was captured on film, to be released on October 28 as a deluxe edition of the band’s third album ‘Holy Fire’. The CD/DVD package will include the album alongside a Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD plus a documentary titled Nothing Left Unsaid. A stand-alone Blu-Ray release of the gig will include three bonus tracks plus official music videos and sessions. See above for a trailer for the DVD.

Foals recently followed up a summer of festival dates, including a headline slot at Latitude, by adding three extra dates to their UK and Ireland tour next February (2014) to meet “incredible demand”.

The band will now play second shows in London, Manchester and Dublin, taking the total number of dates on the tour from six to nine. Meanwhile, their Glasgow show has been upgraded from the city’s Barrowlands venue to the larger O2 Academy.

Foals will play:

Dublin Olympia (February 4, 5)
Manchester Apollo (7, 8)
Glasgow 02 Academy (9)
Birmingham O2 Academy (11)
Newcastle O2 Academy (12)
London Alexandra Palace (14, 15)
