Foals play Reading's Main Stage tomorrow (August 24) and then Leeds on Sunday (August 25)
Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis has praised crowds at Reading and Leeds Festivals for being “the most feral”.
Foals will play on the Main Stage at Reading tomorrow (August 24) and then at Leeds on Sunday (25). In a series of tweets posted earlier this afternoon (August 23), Philippakis said he is already “buzzing” about the band’s fourth appearance at the festivals before adding:
It’s our spiritual home, @officialRandL crowds are always the most feral

Earlier this month Reading and Leeds Festivals promoter Melvin Benn tipped Foals as a future headline act. “Foals for me are the most in touch guitar band in the world and I don’t think anybody’s matching them,” he told NME.
Meanwhile, Foals have just announced a February 2014 UK and Ireland tour. The band will kick off the run of shows at Dublin Olympia on February 4, playing Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle before finishing up at London’s Alexandra Palace on February 14. Tickets go on sale at 9am [BST] on August 30.
