Foals preview each song on new album with ‘What Went Down’ trailer – watch

Band release their fourth album on September 4

Foals have revealed an 11-minute trailer for new album ‘What Went Down’.

The video, which can be seen below, features preview clips of each song on the album. ‘What Went Down’ is due for release on August 28 and was recorded in the south of France with Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, Mumford & Sons). It is their fourth studio LP, following on from 2013’s ‘Holy Fire’.

The album includes the single ‘Mountain At My Gates’ and title track ‘What Went Down’. Speaking to NME recently, frontman Yannis Philippakis described the LP as “lean” and “punchy”.

Foals recently announced plans for a UK club tour. They will play dates in Nottingham, Liverpool, Norwich, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Southampton, Margate, Bristol and Cambridge.

The Margate show will take place at the relaunched Dreamland theme park as part of new festival, By The Sea.
