Frontman makes giant leap during Irish gig

Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis jumped from the balcony into the crowd during a gig in Dublin last night (February 5). Scroll down to watch fan footage of the moment now.

The band were playing the second of two shows at the Dublin Olympia as they began their UK and Irish tour. Wandering into the audience during set closer ‘Two Steps Twice’, Philippakis found himself on the balcony of the venue before leaping into the crowd below. Foals will now play shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle. The Oxford band, who released third album ‘Holy Fire’ in 2013, will play two shows at Manchester Apollo on Friday (February 7) and Saturday (8) before carrying on the tour, culminating in two huge London shows at Alexandra Palace on February 14/15).
