Dave Grohl stops Foo Fighters gig to give drum stick to blind fan – watch

Fan had written request on a sign prior to Sydney gig

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl stopped a gig in Sydney to give a drum stick to a blind fan. Watch footage of the moment below, now.

Grohl interrupted the gig at the ANZ Stadium on Wednesday (February 25) after spotting a sign being held up in the audience which read: “drum stick for a blind guy plz.” The frontman obliged, saying: “There’s a guy in the front row he’s got a sign that says ‘drum stick for a blind guy’'” and duly handing one of Taylor Hawkins sticks to the man.

Foo Fighters recently confirmed they are to headline the 2015 event during their acceptance speech at the NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas.
