Dave Grohl hits out at ‘rich, chicken finger-eating motherfuckers’ at Foo Fighters gig – watch

Incident took place in Wichita, Kansas on September 30

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl poked fun at fans in the corporate boxes at one of the band’s recent live shows.

The Foos were playing a gig in Wichita, Kansas on September 30 when he noticed the attendees in the box seats and proceeded to call them out.

“Don’t make me make you do the fucking wave. Because I’ll do it. I will get a wave going, you rich motherfuckers in the box seats,” he said, adding: “Look at you. They own car dealerships and shit up there. I know who you are, you’ve got a fucking carpet cleaning company. I get it. You got tickets from the hockey team or some shit, it’s all good.”

Grohl continued: “Just so you know, I’m going to rock your fucking balls just as hard as these f–king motherfuckers. You can sit there eating your chicken fingers, but your ass is mine motherfucker. That’s just how I roll. Hope y’all got some fucking ranch with that shit!”

It follows a recent moment at another Foo Fighters show where Dave Grohl dedicated a song to a young girl with a broken leg, later signing her cast.

During the band’s show on September 22, frontman Grohl spotted an injured young fan in the audience.

Dedicating ‘Big Me’ to the fan, Grohl said, “This one, I usually dedicate to the road crew, and the people who built the throne, and all that bullshit… [but] I’m going to sing this one for the little lady who broke her leg too, how bout that?”

Asking the girl how she broke her leg, he added, “In the pool! What?! Man! Can I sign your cast? Will you sign mine too? This one goes out to you. I can’t [sign] it now, I’m on the clock. I’m going to get it later.”

“This is an old song I’m going to sing for the little lady with the broken leg, because nobody wants a fuckin’ broken leg man!,” he continued before launching into ‘Big Me’. Grohl returned to the girl at the end of the set to sign her cast.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters also invited Stevie Nicks and Haim onstage during their concert in Los Angeles on September 21. Watch footage here.
