Dave Grohl’s collaboration with Corey Taylor of Slipknot has been revealed. Scroll down the page to hear the track now.

The track, ‘From Can To Can’t’ is taken from ‘Sound City – Real to Reel’, the soundtrack to Grohl’s upcoming documentary on the legendary Sound City studios in California where classic albums such as Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ and Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ were recorded. The track also features Scott Reeder of Kyuss and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen.

The Sound City soundtrack also features Paul McCartney and Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, with whom Grohl teamed up with at the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert in New York on December 12. A studio recording of their track, ‘Cut Me Some Slack’ was put online on December 17.

Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players band also features Fleetwood Mac‘s Stevie Nicks, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett, Alain Johannes, Chris Goss, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk and more.

The band will perform at the film’s premiere at Sundance Film Festival on January 18. They will also play a second show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on January 31, the same night Sound City film makes its theatrical debut at the nearby Cinerama Dome.
