Queen’s Roger Taylor hints at Foo Fighters collaboration

Taylor says he wants to tour with Taylor Hawkins

Queen drummer Roger Taylor has hinted he may team up with Foo Fighters sticksman Taylor Hawkins for a tour.

The pair last collaborated together in the UK when Dave Grohl’s band covered ’39’ at London’s O2 Arena in 2007.

“I’ve been thinking about doing a tour next year – a very quick tour – with Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters,” he told BBC 6 Music. “He’s like one of my best blood brothers! So we might do that. That sounds like fun. He’s awesome. I love him. He’s got such a great, open approach to life.”

Taylor releases a new single ‘The Unblinking Eye (Everything Is Broken)’, his first solo release in 12 years, next Monday (November 23).
