Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder solo material to debut on sports TV

ESPN sports channel will preview songs at major games

Brand new material from Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder and Kid Rock are set to preview on US sports channel ESPN.

The channel will preview songs from the artists during their major Monday Night Football and Monday Night Countdown broadcasts, before commercial breaks and during halftime.

Kanye West’s tracks ‘Stronger’ and ‘Good Life’ were featured during last night’s Baltimore Ravens Vs Cincinnati Bengals, game in a measure to promote his ‘Graduation’ album release which goes head-to-head with 50 Cent’s ‘Curtis’ today (September 11).

Foo Fighters ‘The Pretender’ will be screened on September 24, while Eddie Vedder’s solo songs ‘Rise’ and ‘Hard Sun’ will get an airing on September 17. The songs are taken from Vedder’s album ‘Into The Wild’, which he wrote as the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, directed by Sean Penn.

Kid Rock tracks ‘So Hot’ and ‘Rock N Roll Jesus’ will air on October 8.

Monday Night Football on ESPN reportedly gets more than 12 million viewers per game.
