Dave Grohl and the gang play unique show at UFO crash site…

The FOO FIGHTERS have marked the release of ’IN YOUR HONOUR’ by playing a gig at an alleged UFO crash site.

The band who released the double album last week (June 11), flew competition winners to Roswell, New Mexico, where it’s claimed a UFO crashed in 1947.

The extra terrestrial themed gig came about due to frontman Dave Grohl’s long-running passion for UFOs. The term Foo Fighter originated in World War II as slang for unexplained balls of light that were spotted by warplane pilots.

The band played the following set:

‘In Your Honour’

‘Last Song’

‘Learn To Fly’

‘Free Me’

‘My Hero’

‘Best Of You’

‘Times Like These’

‘Stacked Actors’

‘Monkey Wrench’

‘All My Life’

‘End Over End’

‘This Is A Call’

The band are now set to embark on a world tour which will see them make headlining appearances this summer at T In The Park and The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals.
