Dave Grohl and co. head for the west coast and away from "slurpees and microwaveable pork cracklin's"...
Foo Fighters have moved to LA to complete their new album.
The group have now finished work on six songs on the follow-up to ‘There Is Nothing Left To Lose’, which is due for release later this year.
Writing to fans on the group’s official website, www.foofighters.com, singer Dave Grohl said the band plan to move from New York to the west coast of their country for the last three weeks of recording.
He wrote: “We’ve finished six songs, and are going out to LA to do the rest. Need a change of scenery. The basement was getting smaller and smaller. It’s no fun feeling like a rat in the sewer, never seeing the light of day, only coming out at night to hit up the 7-11 for slurpees and microwaveable pork cracklin’s. I think it’ll be nice to sleep somewhere that’s more than 20 feet from the mixing board. We have about three weeks left, and then we’re done.”
