Frontman Dave Grohl says 18-19 songs are "so close" to completion...
FOO FIGHTERS have told NME.COM their new album will be finished by the start of NOVEMBER.
Speaking in an interview published in this week’s issue of NME, Dave Grohl said that 18-19 songs are “so close” to completion.
He said: “We demo three weeks at a time…but now we’ve done the demoing I really don’t think it’s going to take long. I figure we’ll come home from the festivals and begin recording the first week in September and hopefully have it finished by the beginning of November.”
Grohl said that unlike the band’s last record, ‘There Is Nothing Left To Lose’, the band’s new songs have been written “with the amps at 10”.
Foo Fighters appear at this weekend’s V2001 festival (August 18-19). For a full preview of the event, including interviews with all the best bands, see this week’s NME, out nationwide now.
