But hopefully Dave Grohl won't start taking to the stage dressed as a schoolboy...

FOO FIGHTERS’ DAVE GROHL is looking to the seminal AC/DC album ‘BACK IN BLACK’ for inspiration on the follow-up to ‘THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE’.

Speaking to [url=] in the US, Foos guitarist Chris Shiflett said: “Dave said the other day that he wanted to make an album like ‘Back In Black’, which is perfect, if you ask me. So, I think that there might be heavier stuff on it, but it will probably go both ways.

“They’ll probably be shit on it that’s mellower than anything that the band has done before, and some stuff that’s heavier.”

According to the official Foo Fighters website [url=], it is rumoured that the final single to be taken from their ‘There Is Nothing Left To Lose’ album will be ‘Aurora’, although this could not be confirmed by NME.COM this morning (February 27).

AC/DC have just announced details of a massive summer show at the Milton Keynes Bowl on June 4. As revealed yesterday (February 26) on NME.COM, support will come from Queens Of The Stone Age, as well as the previously announced The Offspring. It is anticipated that Megadeth will be the final band to be added to the bill.
