The Dave Grohl-led band brought their latest single to the eponymous host's day-time show this week
Foo Fighters performed their latest single ‘The Line’ on Ellen earlier this week – check out their passionate rendition of the track below.
The six-piece are continuing to promote their ninth studio album ‘Concrete and Gold’, which came out back in September 2017. ‘The Line’ is the third single to be lifted from that record, following the release of the tracks ‘Run’ and ‘The Sky Is A Neighborhood’.
Rocking up to the Ellen studios yesterday (May 10), host Ellen DeGeneres introduced the band by saying that “they might just be the coolest rock band in the world”. Check out Foo Fighters’ performance of ‘The Line’ below.
Foo Fighters are currently on tour in North America in support of ‘Concrete and Gold’. Last week, Foos frontman Dave Grohl invited a young fan up on stage to play on drummer Taylor Hawkins’ kit during the band’s gig in Nashville.
However, the fan – who apparently goes by the name ‘Little Fonzie’ – refused to relinquish control of the kit, prompting an awkward on-stage moment as Grohl attempted to coax him off the stage.
That moment was the latest episode in what’s already been an eventful tour for the Foos, which has also seen the band make headlines after inviting a fast-shredding KISS fan on stage, display their beer-chugging skills and even duet with John Travolta.
