Four Tet celebrates 1 million Soundcloud followers with new track

It had such a long name he wasn’t allowed to upload it initially

Four Tet announced last night (May 27) that he now has a million Soundcloud followers, and has shared a new track to mark the occasion.

The streaming service initially wouldn’t let him upload the song, named ‘TrackI’veBeenPlayingOnRadio+StuffSeemsNiceThing2DropBecauseSmashingItOnInternetShouts2B.UFO+A.Naples’ – or ‘TIBPOR+SSNT2DBSIOIS2BUFO+AN’ for short – because its title was too long.

Since releasing the track the electronic musician aka Kieran Hebden has told fans on Twitter that he made its emoji-covered artwork on Snapchat.

A fan then asked him if he would make a song out of Snapchat clips and he replied, ‘next album all done on snapchat’.

Hebden plays several UK festivals this summer ¬– see his dates below:
Jun 11 Field Day, London
Jun 11 Wildlife Festival, Brighton
Jun 12 Parklife Festival, Manchester
Aug 27 Creamfields, Cheshire
Aug 28 South West Four, London
