UK super producer re-appears on live DJ streaming show
UK producer and DJ Four Tet has today shared a video of his recent performance at Boiler Room London.
The producer – also known as Kieran Hebden – brought his live show to the music streaming service’s broadcast from London on Saturday February 13, involving a vast set up of electronic synths, drum machines and visuals.
According to Pitchfork, the show also featured a light show set up by Squid Soup. The performance also followed on from an hour long DJ set he performed at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, The full video is below for your to watch and a downloadable audio file can be found by clicking here.
The release of the performance comes after recent news that Hebden released an ‘alternate remix’ of Jamie xx‘s ‘Seesaw’ through his Soundcloud page.
Kieran Hebden is known for his collaborations and remix work, which have seen him join forces with the likes of Eric Prydz, Floating Points, Burial, Rome Fortune and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke besides dozens more.
Hebden has remixed the ‘In Colour’ album track – featuring Romy from The xx – and you can stream it in full below.
Jamie xx was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize Award in 2015 after the release of his first full length solo album, although he lost out to Benjamin Clementine.
Jamie, one third of The xx, will headline London’s 12,000 capacity Alexandra Palace on February 26. His last UK tour saw him play to a sold-out O2 Academy Brixton with the 2016 gigs representing his largest solo headline show to date.
Jamie xx will also perform at Le Zénith in Paris on February 24. He will be joined by Four Tet and Bambounou for the Paris event.
