Foxing share explosive new single and North American tour dates supporting Manchester Orchestra

The St. Louis trio throw us for six with their unexpectedly booming new cut

St. Louis genre-benders Foxing have shared a riveting new single titled ‘If I Believed in Love’, alongside the announcement of a North American tour supporting indie-rockers Manchester Orchestra.

The new track starts off a far cry from what longtime Foxing fans will have come to expect from the band – a spacious, minimalistic electro track with an understated beat and buzzing pad synths, frontman Conor Murphy musing wistfully over it.

About a minute and a half in though, the track explodes into a thumping indie-pop rager with layered screams and massive percussion. It’s another equally experimental and impassioned cut from the trio, who kicked off their career with a mostly traditional emo and indie-rock slant.

Listen to ‘If I Believed in Love’ below:

‘If I Believed in Love’ lands as the fourth single from Foxing’s forthcoming album ‘Draw Down The Moon’, following ‘Speak With The Dead’, ‘Go Down Together’ and ‘Where The Lightning Strikes Twice’. Their fourth full-length effort, ‘Draw Down The Moon’ is due for release on August 6 via the band’s own Grand Paradise label (in tandem with Hopeless Records).

Fans will be able to hear cuts from the new LP live when Foxing embark on a 38-date run of North American tour dates, supporting longtime collaborators Manchester Orchestra. The stint will kick off in Dallas, Texas in the first week of October, heading everywhere from LA to New York before wrapping up in Montreal, Quebec in mid-March 2022.
