Foxy Brown cleared of violating court order after flashing buttocks

Brown mooned her neighbour last summer

Foxy Brown has escaped jail after a judge ruled she did not violate a court order by mooning her neighbour.

Prosecutors had claimed that the rapper broke the order by baring her buttocks at Arlene Raymond and screaming at her in July of last year.

Brown, real name Inga Marchand, had been issued with the order in 2008 after pleading guilty to harassing Raymond with her mobile phone, according to BBC Newsbeat.

Brown rose to prominence in the 1990s as a protégé of Jay-Z, breaking through with her 1996 debut ‘Ill Na Na’, and releasing three more albums. But she has been plagued with legal troubles over the years and served jail time in 2008.

Her last album, 2008’s ‘Brooklyn’s Don Diva’, originated as a mixtape. She is planning to release a new album, ‘Black Roses’, later this year.
