Frances Bean Cobain’s ex husband Isaiah Silva is reportedly suing Courtney Love for trying to kill him

It was said to be in a bid to return Kurt Cobain's guitar

Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva is reportedly suing her mother Courtney Love for attempting to have him murdered.

Frances married Isaiah Silva back in June of 2014. The couple were together for five years and married for less than two when Frances filed for divorce in March 2016. Their divorce came through in November, but a two year legal battle saw Silva controversially awarded the late Kurt Cobain’s iconic guitar from Nirvana‘s MTV Unplugged performance last month.

Silva claims that Frances gave him the guitar as a gift and that he had the instrument in his possession when she filed for divorce in March 2016.

Now, TMZ reports that Silva has launched a new lawsuit – alleging that Love “entered into a conspiracy with several people to break into his home, beat him up, kidnap him and try to murder him so they could gain possession of Kurt Cobain’s legendary guitar.”

It is reportedly alleged that in the early hours of June 3 in 2016, Sam Lutfi and two other men burglarised, robbed, assaulted, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him at his West Hollywood Home. It is said that the assailants banged on his door claiming to be from the LAPD, before grabbing Silva’s genitals, and threatening and assaulting him.

Silva is seeking unspecified damages. Love is yet to respond to the allegations.

Meanwhile, Courtney Love and Frances Bean Cobain recently won a court case that seals the photos of Kurt Cobain‘s death against journalist Richard Lee – who sought the pictures under the Washington State’s Public Records Act in his battle to prove that the rock icon was in fact murdered. His appeal was blocked.

Frances Bean also iscussed her music plans after previewing her first original song last week, also saying that she “hopes” her late father Kurt Cobain would be “proud” of her.

“With regards to music, I don’t want to pigeon hole myself and say I am a musician or a visual artist because I feel like it’s all encompassing and I feel like every bit of my art is related to the other,” she said.
