Frank Turner to film fans’ house parties for new video

Singer wants to play as many gigs in one day as he can

Frank Turner is asking fans to hold house parties for the filming of the video for new single ‘The Road’.

Blogging on Turner said he wants to attend as many of the house parties as possible, filming at each one.

“The idea for the video is, I’m going to try and play as many house parties in 24 hours as possible, around London,” he wrote. “This is where we need your help. We’re starting at 8pm on Thursday (June 25) and finishing at 8pm on Friday (June 26) this week.

“Here’s the deal. If you live in London and are cool with me coming round to play a few songs at some point, please email and I’ll send you more details.”

Turner added that he’s especially keen to find people who can hold parties in “interesting” locations, such as roof terraces or swimming pools.

He plans to finish the day’s filming by playing a short free gig at London venue The Flowerpot (coming onstage at 8pm BST).
