Franz Ferdinand visited the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospitalon Monday night (November 21) to play a three-song set to young
dialysis patients.
The band presented the hospital’s consultant paediatrician Dr Ian Auchterlonie with a cheque for £10,282 on behalf Of the charity Kidney Kids Scotland.

According to The Scotsman, the money will go towards specialist beds, dialysis scales and a part-time dietician focused on attending to children with renal disease.
