The boys let slip their future plans while answering questions from readers of NME.COM...
[/a] aim to have their second album out by the beginning of next year.
The band are currently on the road promoting their acclaimed self-titled debut, which only came out in February. They also have a hectic summer schedule, with appearances at a host of festivals – including Glastonbury, T In The Park and The Carling Weekend – pencilled in.
But while answering questions from fans during an NME.COM Fannish Inquisition [a] revealed their future recording plans.
Guitarist Nick McCarthy said: “The next album should be out beginning of next year.”
Frontman Alex Kopranos added : “We’re writing all the time. We’re always scribbling away, or showing each other ideas. Writing songs is thrilling and fun, that’s why we do all this stuff.”
