ALL OVER THE SHOPS!

This week's NME cover stars reveal details of a second instore appearance in the next few days...

Franz Ferdinand will kick off their year as the hottest band in Britain with two intimate instore performances in LONDON over the next few days.

This week’s NME cover stars will play at Rough Trade in London’s Covent Garden on Saturday (January 10) at 5pm before performing a set up the road on Monday (January 12) at independent record store Fopp, kicking off at 1pm.

A year and a half ago Franz Ferdinand were playing the only four songs they had written in teenage girl’s bedroom in their hometown of Glasgow. This year has seen the band catapulted to the top of NME’s Hot List 2004, famous for discovering the likes of Coldplay, Jet, and Franz Ferdinand.

Franz Ferdinand‘s appearance at Fopp on Earlham St, will also mark the release of their second single, ‘Take Me Out’ (January 12) through Domino.
