Bands as Joy Division – Friday Fun

Timewasting fun on NME.COM

It’s Friday once more, and today (June 19), to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Joy Division‘s classic album ‘Unknown Pleasures’, we’re thinking up bands as Joy Division-related things to waste time until the pubs open.

We’ve also celebrated the album in the new issue of NME, which is out now. It features interviews with the band members plus classic Joy Division photography.

Here are a few efforts we’ve come up with so far:

Peter And The Wolf Hook
Atmosphere Factory
Dead Souls-avers
The Shadows-play
Man-Chester French
Mar-Tin Machine Hannett
Courtney Love Will Tear Us Apart
