Toronto restaurant names food dishes after Fucked Up

Hardcore punk band make it on the breakfast menu at Canadian eatery

Two food dishes at a Toronto restaurant have been named after the band Fucked Up.

The hardcore punk band, who reside in the Canadian city, currently have items on Sneaky Dee’s breakfast menu including ‘Fucked Up Breakfast’ and ‘Queen Of Heart Attacks’, named after a track by the band. The former consists of two enchiladas with tortilla bowls, poached eggs, chips and chili. The latter is the North American equivalent to a full English breakfast including food items such as bacon, ham, sausages, eggs, french toasts and fries. Each of the two platters cost a mighty $24.95 (£15.92). More information can be found on the restaurant’s website Sneaky-Dees.com.

Fucked Up are currently touring Canada and the US. They are due to play the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto alongside Ice Age tomorrow (June 15) before heading to Brooklyn House Of Vans in New York on June 27. They will also be appearing at Canada’s Hillside Festival from July 26-28. Other acts and bands on the bill include Martha Wainwright, Bonnie Prince Billy and Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo. Fucked Up have no plans to tour the UK yet.
