Welsh group will perform their debut album in Cardiff and London in July
Funeral For A Friend have announced they are going to perform their debut album, ‘Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation’, in full at two UK shows.
The shows, which are to commemorate the upcoming departure of guitarist Darran Smith, are at Cardiff University on July 22 and London‘s Shepherds Bush Empire on July 23.
“As sad as we are to see Darran leave, these shows will be guaranteed to give him a great send-off,” the group said in a statement. “We played the album in its entirety when we toured it back in 2003/4 and never really planned to do that again, but obviously with it being Darran‘s last shows it seems like a perfect opportunity to play the record for the final time.”
Support on both dates comes in the form of High Wycombe post-hardcore outfit, Young Guns.
Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday (May 21) at 9am (BST).
