Future Islands record new music at Abbey Road and play new songs live – watch

The band performed 'The Haunted' and 'The Chase' at Sheffield's The Plug

Future Islands have recorded new music at London’s famous Abbey Road studios.

4AD, the band’s record label, recently posted a photograph on Facebook of the group outside Abbey Road, hinting that more new music is could be on the way. See the picture above.

Meanwhile, Future Islands have also being performing two new tracks live during their current UK tour. ‘The Chase’ and ‘The Haunted’ were performed at The Plug in Sheffield on Sunday (March 29). Watch footage below.


The trio have also added a handful of US dates to their current tour in support of their latest album ‘Singles’. These dates are in the build up to their appearance with Grace Jones at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 27.
